Adam Gatt

I am a Microsoft Azure and Power Platform enthusiast with an interest in integration, automation and low-code/no-code development. I work on Azure and the Power Platform on a day to day basis. I intend to document useful discoveries and triumphs on this blog to reference them in the future and share them in the hopes that it will benefit others, too.

Experience

I have been part of the Accelerate Tech team since September 2022. I primarily work as an Azure Developer / Integration Specialist on the ePlanning.io Local Government Integration Platform, helping NSW Councils integrate their Property & Rating System and EDMS with the NSW Planning Portal. I also designed and developed the ePlanning.io Application Portal Tracker – built on Azure and the Power Platform. It integrates with Council P&R Systems including TechnologyOne P&R and Civica Authority to provide Council’s with a modern public facing website to display their Planning Application information and documents on.

Whilst primarily working with NSW Council’s, I do also assist the Accelerate team with other engagements that involve Azure, Integrations, Infrastructure as Code, configuring DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, etc.

Prior to joining the Accelerate Tech team, I was at Penrith City Council for almost 6 years working in the ICT Department as a System Analyst, primarily looking after D365 CE & FS, SharePoint Online and many public websites.

As a result of both of these roles, I have plenty of experience with Azure, the Power Platform and local government software including TechnologyOne P&R (Ci and CiA), Authority Civica (and Altitude) and Content Manager.

Learning and Development

I am an enthusiastic and active learner. I recently won the Deans Medal from Western Sydney University, when completing a Masters of Information & Communications Technology (High Distinction). I also enjoy sharing what I have learnt with others. Some of my certifications include:
